I'm the sole founder and operator of Alpha AI Services — a portfolio of AI tools built specifically for small businesses. I started this in 2025 because I kept watching small-business owners get pitched enterprise AI wrapped in a pricing model that assumed they had a dedicated IT department. They don't. I build tools that work for the person answering phones, chasing leads, and sending invoices all before noon.
Alpha AI Services is the brand hub for two live products — AlphaAssist (AI voice receptionist) and AlphaLeads (daily new-business lead lists) — plus custom AI integration work on a project basis. The tagline is Practical AI, built for small business. Where competitors like Bland AI, Goodcall, and Synthflow are building horizontal platforms for any caller at any scale, I'm building vertical tools for owner-operators who need something that works on day one, not after a three-week onboarding.
I build the stack myself. Every product in the portfolio runs on Node.js or Python, uses the Claude API for reasoning and language tasks, Twilio for telephony, OpenAI Realtime combined with Cartesia Sonic 3 for voice, and Postgres or SQLite for state depending on the deployment. I don't use no-code wrappers and I don't outsource the core build. That means slower releases sometimes, but it also means I know exactly what's running when something breaks — and I can fix it.
I don't believe in locking small businesses into annual contracts before they've seen the product work. I don't ship features because a competitor shipped them first. If a tool doesn't solve a real problem a small-business owner actually has, it doesn't ship.
I came up through software development and have spent time close to the operational side of small businesses — close enough to know that most AI pitches land wrong because they're written by people who've never had to close a job, follow up on an unpaid invoice, and answer a customer call in the same afternoon. My technical work before Alpha AI Services included building and maintaining production systems in Node.js and Python. The AI stack I use now — Claude, Twilio, Cartesia, OpenAI Realtime — I chose because I evaluated them against real call and workflow scenarios, not benchmarks.
